So I went to the grocery store yesterday. I didn't buy that much stuff, but then again I didn't pay much either. I bought 14 cans of Progresso soup (for our food storage), 6 cake mixes, and 2 pounds of butter. And the grand total? $.63 Yep, you're reading that right, 63 cents. Don't believe me? Here's the receipts:

You'll probably have to click on them to read them, but I did two transactions. One was 30 cents and the other was 34. And you know what's even better? At the end I was left with a $10 coupon to use towards my next purchase. I love it when grocery stores pay me to take food off their hands.
that's fabulous! so what kind of coupons were those? and where did you get them?
ReplyDeleteI need more information!! Was it coupons? Some wacky food storage deal? Does anyone else want some cake now? ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou RULE--67 cents doesn't even buy you gum anymore!! Score one for you!
That is awesome! I should really play the coupon game..you rock!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I've never even been close to saving this much money. I really need to pay closer attention to coupons and sale items.
ReplyDeleteSo, where did you get that 10 dollar coupon from???? Sigh.....That was the kicker. I saw it there on both recipts!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome deals!! You are the super market queen!!
I remember the receipt I got back one time when they OWED ME .13!!! I couldn't believe it. I didn't get it, mind you, bc the coupons "didn't have cash value" but that was a glorious day indeed. I think I saw a coupon here once... or maybe it was a lotto ticket. :)
ReplyDeleteMakes me excited to see what our grocery store deals are this week (I do my list Wed nights). I love paying so little and getting so much.
ReplyDeleteI love those kind of shopping trips! Great job!
